  BA Dawson team and Supt Rob are an incredible team that replaced the waterline and pavement on Pratt Road. The ditches and driveways were beautifully reconstructed. Traffic flowed and we had good safe travel through the site. Crews worked through terrible hot 40 c weather. The workers were all very kind and friendly.

  I was driving my bike down the road where they had grooved the road down to repave in Kamloops specifically summit drive near the superstore. Apparently the fellas working on that site where in hurry to go home that night and didn’t put sand or any type of ramp to get back onto the regular paved road and left a large step up in the road. So in the middle of rush hour when everyone was driving home, so was I. I didn’t see any signage other than grooved pavement so I just kept up with traffic and hit the step up in the right lane so hard I had damage to the front end of my motorcycle, luckily I was able to keep the bike upright and did not injure myself.   Came to pave a few neighbors properties. They parked on our lawn and trying to get them to move was a headache. We work hard to maintain our lawn and they have destroyed the underground sprinkling in this area. Phoned main office and just got the run around. Shane, who parked on our lawn, said it was city property and he could park there. Incredibly disrespectful to the property they aren’t making money on. There is LOTS of on street parking. This was so not needed.
